The Hotel Cal Teixido is a quiet and traditional 3-star hotel in Estamariu, one of the municipalities in the region of l'Alt Urgell, in the Catalan Pyrenees. It is located at an altitude of about 1084 metres and is engulfed in a magnificent setting. Here you will be surrounded by stunning natural parks, such as the Cadi and the High Pyrenees parks. The area has a rich history and you can find remnants of the Sant Vicenç de Pinsent ancient monastery and the Romanesque Sant Vicenç church. Bescaran is a small village of just 100 inhabitants which retains the typical architecture of the area: stone walls, and old wooden windows and balconies, etc. It is a very picturesque setting The Hotel Cal Teixido is divided into two areas. The main building consists of the reception, lobby and a traditional village cafe/bar and restaurant with original wooden fittings of the stone building including a fireplace and terrace on the first floor. In the same building are 14 rooms, either standard or superior. 50 metres from the main building are the junior suite rooms. All have plasma TV, heating and air conditioning, closet, desk, lounge, terrace and bathroom (some with a spa tub). The hotel also boasts an outdoor pool, jacuzzi and sun deck.
